Abakan was born into a musical family and was exposed to various music genres at a young age. His father, a singing guitarist, inspired him to pursue music.

After playing in concert cafes for more than 15 years, Abakan decided to compose his first album which featured collaborations with several guest artists. He played this album in several iconic Parisian venues and did a mini-tour in Asia.
